Kit:These are just suggestions. I said that it was an RPG for everyone, and I mean that.
KiT:While, Halcyon has a wide range of plant and animal life, years of war, evolution, and continental exploration have led to the dominance of certain species. Technological and cultural developments have also led to different classes in society. All have unique combinations of physical and magical stats, but all have the most basic spells of their elemental regions. For example, all forest dwelling creatures heal faster in the forest and can summon shuriken-type leaves; Mountain Range creatures can create small fire balls, etc.
Humanoids:
- Humans - The humans are scattered throughout Halcyon and have little to no magical abilities and are at a loss when it comes to agility and natural senses. They make up for their lack of magic with ingenious tools and creations. Humans generally excel in the use of healing and curative potions, explosive potions which mimic elemental magic, and the unique use of firearms. They are also fairly good with blade weaponry.
- Elves - The elves dwell primarily in the forest and are quite agile and adept at archery. They draw their strength from the forest and have the unique ability to cloak themselves almost perfectly if they remain still. They can also draw forth energy from the forest to heal themselves. They also have heightened senses and have very acute sight. Their primary weakness lies in their inefficiency in melee combat.
- Angelix - The Angelic inhabitants of DiamondStar Mountain are generally peaceful, but also have powerful warriors. They are generally characterized by their beauty and their elegant wings, which allow them limited flight. They deal primarily in light magic with healing abilities and auras which help their allies. The Angelix are also known for their fantastic swords, and are excellent strategists due to their 6th sense, which allows them to see a limited glimpse of the future.
Anthropomorphix
- Lupine - The Wolf packs separated into two main groups. Arctic wolves and forest Timber wolves. The wolves are generally the strongest of the anthros and are fierce in combat. While they excel in melee combat with claws or blades due to their dexterity and defensive abilities, they are at a disadvantage when it comes to magic. Their magical specialties are mainly used to augment their physical stats.
- Kitsune - The Kitsune are fox anthros and are also separated into arctic and sylvan groups. Unlike the wolves, they generally live alone or in small family units. Instead of strength, the Kitsune excel with agility, dexterity, and magic. Their magical skills lie in their ability to shape shift and trick their enemies. They can use their claws, but usually prefer bladed weapons.
- Usagi - The Usagi tribes are also separated into arctic and sylvan groups. These rabbit anthros aren't skilled at physical combat, but are quite adept at magic usage. They can cast spells of all elements, allowing them to deal damage effectively by concentrating on the elemental weaknesses of their enemies. Their weapons are not used to deal physical damage, but their staves and wands help them to concentrate their energy into powerful spells.
- Neko - The nekos are a feline species scattered around the forest. They resemble the Kitsune in physical stats and cultural behavior, but their magic is more of a mix between Usagi elemental magic and Lupine augmentational skills. They put the most emphasis on individuality, and as such, use a wide range of weapons.
Reptilians
- Raptorix - The Raptor Packs are split into two groups. The Mountain Range packs and the Desert packs. The raptors excel at hunting and killing, and have decent magical abilities on the side. They have incredible agility and use their claws and teeth as their weapons in combat. The Mountain Range packs have light fire-based magic and the Desert packs have decent lightning abilities.
Geos
- Golems - The golems are like walking statues of stone. What they lack in agility and dexterity, they make up with brute strength. They prefer to use their own massive limbs as weapons, and also have stone and fire based magic to a limited extent.
Aquatix
- Dolphinae - The Dolphinae are a species of azure humanoids (Think Zoras) with finlike structures on their arms, dolphin tails, streamlined heads, and flipper-like feet. They live in the Sapphire Bay, and are quite balanced in physical traits. They excel with dual blades and use water-based magic against their enemies.
